Does anyone know how many side missions are in Borderlands 2? I counted 109 side missions completed in my logbook and I can't find anymore, I've done both the discovered and undiscovered ones. Is there a zone you don't come across in the story that is holding the few remaining side missions or what? Anyway I'm wondering how many side missions there are and I just beat the game so will my 109. Home News Borderlands 2 main story is 20 to 30 hours long. Not including any side missions. 'We've still got billboards that you can go up to and get missions from, and we're introducing. After finishing the previous mission, go to the waypoint and press the button that shows to travel to Southern Shelf. Try not to shoot Claptrap as you continue along the path, eventually happening upon some Bullymongs outside of the gate to Liar’s Berg.

Getting Borderlands today, but I need to know, once I've finished the main quest, story, mission, whatever, can I take my character and continue to do side-quests and whatever I want? Or is it a case of following the main story, doing side-quests along the way and then that's it?The89When you finish the storyline, after the credits roll, it'll bring you back to your character and you're free to do whatever you want, like finish up sidequests.Also, the game saves by character. It keeps track of where you are in the story, and you're always free to import that character into a co-op game regardless of where your buddy may be in the story in relation to you. Host determines the active story quest, but any sidequests that are available to other players will also be active, even if the Host doesn't have access to them yet or has already completed them.And when you're finished playing in someone else's game,you can pick up right where you left off in your own story. So basically, this game never locks you out of anything. I noticed after beating the game, if you load a character it lets you choose to play either the first run through again so you can finish up quests or load up runthrough 2. I'm about to load the second run through today and i'm hoping it's like Diablo where the enemies start off harder and dropping better loot.
