I was browsing comments under 7StarC's GET DIRTY (take a bath) mod and saw some people suggesting it would be cool if the dirtiness level actually had impact on your charisma, so I decided to go ahead and make it happen.I originally wanted to just edit the mod for my own use, but eventually decided to brave an uncharted territory and make a patch for the original mod instead, so I could share it with other people.

Nothing special, right? Well my friend, if you've got some ballistic fiber laying around and have access to the Armorer perk, these badboys can be modified to god-tier status.Ballistic fiber isn't the only thing you'll need for this, but it's the main component.

At an armor workbench, the fatigues can be modified with a little thing called 'ballistic weave'. There are four levels of weave you can obtain, each requiring more materials and a point spent into armorer (The first tier requires level 1 armorer while the 4th requires level 4), but each level also getting stronger. IIRC, level 1 ballistic weave has 30 physical and energy resist, while level 4 has 110 physical AND energy damage resist.This is a HUGE amount of defense for one item. And the best part?
It can be worn UNDERNEATH all armor. Meaning you can have the 110 Physical and energy resist. + all the defense from both legs, both arms, chest-piece, and helmet. I believe you can find some on higher-ranked Gunners or at the National Guard Training Yard.
I'm yet to find any clothes better than this. Robotic Bits (Please, someone find this and tell us how to get it)Outfits can also be upgraded, but there are over 80 of them so those you will have to find for yourself. The clothing I listed are all 'Clothes' which are worn under modular armor pieces. I don't really scrap much and keep it in a container, so I loaded up a bunch of stuff that I thought might work.

They don't need to be dirty. Clean ones work, too. That's what I'm decked out in right now, actually.EDIT: I don't know why so many people think you need to do anything for the Railroad for this, but no you don't. AFAIK, you just need points in Armorer and possibly Science to add more upgrade parts to things. I haven't even encountered the Railroad yet.Edit 2: I seem to just have a bug that let's me see the upgrades without having done any quests for it. I can't actually make anything, but I can see at least one upgrade for a few items I picked up. Now I know how I can make them at least: Become Harriet Tubman.
